Tired of mediocre slopes without enough options? Time to give Deer Valley skiing a try.
Let’s start with the snow. Deer Valley skiing is great because of the unique fluffy Utah powder. And then there’s the part of Deer Valley skiing that is unrivaled by any other North American resort—the groomed ski runs. Deer Valley works much harder on their slopes than the surrounding resorts because they strive to make Deer Valley skiing the best.
We admit, though, that we didn’t have anything to do with making Deer Valley skiing great. Empire mountain, rising to 9,570 feet challenges Deer Valley's expert visitors. Little Baldy Peak rises to 7,950 feet and offers even more trails for experts, beginners and the whole range in between. For some advanced Deer Valley skiing, Bald Mountain (9,400 feet) has steep, ungroomed trails for an added challenge. Bald Eagle Mountain (8,400 feet) has quality Deer Valley skiing—an area for beginners but separate from that, ski-runs that were used in the 20002 Olympics! Deer Valley skiing is really developed at Flagstaff Mountain (9,100 feet) with four turbo quad lifts, there’s the Ontario Bowl, and large gladed areas. And if you want gladed Deer Valley skiing across 65 acres, especially designed for experts, Lady Morgan (9,000 feet) is the place to go.
Altogether, that means just over 2,000 acres of varied terrain for every level of Deer Valley skiing. That includes snowmaking terrain across 560 acres of Deer Valley skiing and glade skiing across 930 acres. And Deer Valley skiing is perfect for all kinds of people, since you’ll find various difficulty levels that fit you—however experienced you are with skiing. When you’re ready for a long ride, Deer Valley skiing includes a run that stretches out for 2.8 miles! And while you’re enjoying the slopes, you can also enjoy the fabulous weather Deer Valley offers.
Deer Valley skiing also has good lifts to get you to those slopes comfortably. Deer Valley skiing starts with a ride on one of the 21 great lifts: 1 high-speed gondola, 11 high speed quad charlifts, 2 fixed-grip quad charlifts 5 triple chairlifts and 2 double chairlifts. Deer Valley skiing has a total uphill capacity of 46,500 skiers per hour! Deer Valley skiing isn’t about waiting in a line. You can get a ride to the top right away, so that you enjoy your skiing and not waiting!
So when you’re ready to start really getting the most out of your ski vacation, Deer Valley skiing will give you everything you could want. You haven’t experienced what skiing can be until you’ve experienced Deer Valley skiing.
